True Forgery
R. L. Allen 08 May, 2020
When talking fails,
The yelling ensues.
Which never bare fruits,
Accusations start,
To which none will faces up to,
So the threats begin.
Threats are met with threats.
Fears replace hope,
Real hope is blasphemy,
Libel is taken as truth.
Truth carefully hidden away in thin black boxes
And perfect plastic smiles.
Bold words meet with a hurt pride.
The war forge is flamed,
The sword is raised,
Blood is spilled.
And what is spilled is never enough.
So new swords are crafted.
They’re never enough.
Tyrants rise and ignorance reigns.
All is put into the flame,
The world’s a true hell.
Until it disappears without humanity,
Because that which was told at high cost,
From it’s inception wasn’t true at all.
